Hey there! Thanks for being here. I see you! Ok, I don’t really SEE you, see you, but if you’re taking the time to read this, I just want to say THANK YOU for being here. This means you’re a curious person, or somewhat interested in what I do, or a super fan! Hi mom, hi Bryana! Maybe you saw me perform somewhere or heard my music streaming from a new playlist and you just stumbled here. Maybe you were doing research on John Glenn, the first American to orbit earth from space, and typed MY name instead? Whatever the reason, welcome to my blog. I’m happy you’re here!

To be honest, I should’ve started blogging over a decade ago, when I was preparing for my 2016 album, “Orange Moon”. There was so much going on during that time: The making of my debut album, the follow up single, the music video, my first SOFAR show, my first tour, my first (and only, so far) tv appearance, my Texas Public Radio visit, the start of a new musical side project: Yosh & Yimmy. There’s probably more that I’m forgetting, but that’s a lot of stuff to just gloss over. It takes a lot being a DIY, solo musician, and I’ll admit I have never been that great at promoting myself. I’m actively working on that though. For example, I finally started a blog!

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be posting updates on what’s going on in the musical wonderland of Josh Glenn Experiment. The next blog will discuss where i’m currently at with my forthcoming album, being recorded in San Antonio, TX at Edit Point Studios and Studio E, with the one and only, Brant Sankey. We began work on this album over two years ago, and are finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. The project stalled at several points due to lack of funds and the fact that Brant was in the middle of recording like 4 other bands. Now we’re full steam ahead, and looking to have the first single ready to release by July 30th, 2026. More on that next time.
